Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon became bored. She then bought an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she decided to sell it and started writing her first book. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. Between them the Food Network show was also an enormous success. Her range of items spans from cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina, who is self-taught she has never attended the culinary institute or at an establishment. Her name is associated with her casual approach to making food and hosting. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet Lemon Chicken roasted by Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon.
